Yes music in some recent album was something different than what could have been expected but the voices and instruments were still Genesis sound. Personally I think this is much better than weak Invisible Touch or abacab albums and consistent with good but uneven. We can not Dance. From the Prog point of view there are no special songs on Calling All Stations are as good as the best tracks by we can not dance like the big fake lights but there is also nothing here that is as bad as the worst songs from the same album which Jesus knows about me or I can not dance. There is no blow to the band twentysomething songs Scotsman Ray Wilson as pleasant if a general voice falls into the territory between Original Genesis Frontman Peter Gabriel and a more futuristic approach to Collins. I sure Nick wants to play with Tony and Mike but I have to wonder if he ever kept in mind that this was something really boring. After the end of the European Council in 1998 Banks and Rutherford set up Genesis for a long time leaving Calling All Stations as the latest studio edition of the band. Basalt pop-rock songs which sometimes exceed them with uninspired keyboard temperature rather than melodic game we all loved from the banks and uninspired drum crafting I know some readers will disagree with it but it actually uninspired .Rutherford and banks come across as fast at the age of 80 with this and try to have pop success but throw a few feet to the fans of the old things. There must be an art rock album but not at the expense of losing pop audiences - making it all the stranger that the group did not really write pop songs about Calling All Stations. Banks and Rutherford did not return Genesis to the gradual roots of their rock as told in time and they did not continue in the same direction Collins had taken the group.
